Oh My Goodness! I must say that this was one of the best weddings I’ve attended. Lori and Norm created a beautiful and intimate wedding. They are truly an amazing and blessed couple. It was my honor and true pleasure to photograph their special day. I had the opportunity to witness so much joy and love from the Scholl’s, as well as everyone who attended the wedding. The energy of love surrounded the establishment the entire day. Just look and see for yourself!!
Fun photo shoot at Flower Blossom Farm
I'm super grateful for the photo shoot opportunity offered to me by Kim Thomas, owner of Flower Blossom Farm. She grows her own flowers, and designs the most incredible floral arrangements. The day I stopped out, Kim was handling a wedding event in Massachusetts. I took several photos of the bouquets, boutonnieres, floral crowns, bracelets, and more. I arrived to the farm early so I could take some photos of the floral gardens, too. She has an amazing variety of flowers that she uses in her floral designs. Kim is busy handling weddings every weekend, and from seeing the beauty of her creations, it is no wonder she is so busy.
I followed her out to the wedding and observed the fantastic creations she and her team put together to make the event so beautiful, as you will see in my gallery.
Nature at Presque Isle in Erie, PA
I had the chance to spend a few hours with my mom to get a few pictures of nature at Presque Isle. This is a hidden treasure of Erie, and one of my most favorite and cherished places to visit. There's so much you can do there: swim and soak up the sun on the beaches, run/skate/bike on the trails, rent kayaks/paddleboards/canoes, fish, etc.
Mom and I found some areas where geese were preening, bathing, and just hanging around. I was even lucky enough to capture the greenest dragonfly I have ever seen. When I perused through the photos, there was a moment that the dragonfly looked directly at the camera (pic below). As always, it was a fun and pleasant time.
Scholl/Galvin Engagement
I had the true pleasure of doing an engagement photo session of Norman & Lori at Shades Beach Park in Harborcreek, PA. This incredible couple will be married this October at a gorgeous winery in Ripley, NY. Norman & Lori are such a light-hearted and carefree couple, that capturing the love they have for each other in photos was an amazing experience and such a blast!
Kruze's 2nd Birthday
The adorable boy, Kruze, recently turned two on July 24th. His parents, Deven and Allison, wanted to capture a few father/son moments just before his birthday, so we took a trip to the playground at Presque Isle Waterworks in Erie, PA. I had the opportunity to witness the amazing bond between Deven and Kruze.
Additionally, I was able capture a couple of extra photos of entire family, including a few quiet moments between Mom and, their newest addition, Annsly.
Capturing Bald Eagles along the Hudson River
My friend, Nancy, and I went out to see if we could capture some photos of Bald Eagles. We were informed that lots of bald eagles nest high in trees along the Mohawk-Hudson River. I was hoping to really get clear photos of the eagle after we finally found this beauty in her nest. To my dismay, the photo wasn’t sharp and clear like I wished for. Some days are just better than others, and this was an “off” day for me. Nonetheless, Nancy and I were just so excited and thrilled to finally find a nest, see a bald eagle, and capture a photo or two of a bald eagle. Even though the photo isn’t sharp and clear, it was still a success!
Madison
This is Madison. She's a stunning young lady who attended her first prom this past weekend. You would never know by looking at her that she has been through an incredible ordeal just over a year ago. She almost lost her life after being struck by a car. I must say that God was steadfast in His love because he sent angels in many forms to her side in her desperate time of need. I have indirectly witnessed the amazing support of love and care she received, directly and indirectly; directly through multiple medical practitioners and, indirectly through the love and support of family, friends, and even strangers. There is no question in my mind that she was saved by God, for she has a purpose yet to fulfill, and a lifetime to achieve greatness. As a result, I am awestruck by her incredible grace and humble nature.
